Goals
- Support lake stewardship by collection of key water quality data regularly in collaboration with local and state governmental organizations to ensure that we have the complete, unbiased, long-term data we need to protect the lake.
- Explore Lake Chelan and its watershed through basic research and education, heightening awareness of the lake’s value and unique character
- Understand the underlying hydrodynamic and biological processes that control the lake’s water quality as informed by a digital model and database for the lake that are enduring and accessible for lake management
