Lake Chelan is the 3rd deepest lake in the United States and the largest lake in Washington State by any measure. Water quality data has been collected infrequently and sporadically compared to other valued lakes such as Lake Tahoe and Flathead Lake. In short, Lake Chelan is vastly under-studied and we need to act now to ensure that Lake Chelan remains such a special place.

We are funded through donations and all participants volunteer their time. The roles of citizen scientists, engineers, and students are crucial to our success. We operate under the 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsorship of the Lake Chelan Recreation Development Foundation.
