Update on Water Quality Programs

Mike Kaputa, Chairman of the Lake Chelan Watershed Planning Unit (Director of Chelan County’s Natural Resources Division) and Phil Long, Lake Chelan Research Institute gave a presentation to Chelan City Council members during a City Workshop on Tuesday, December 1.

A Floating Field Trip: Roots Community School

A small group of 3rd and 4th graders from Chelan’s new Roots Community School spent the day taking part in a unique field trip with the Lake Chelan Research Institute testing water quality.
